ISO/TC 210 Joint Working Group 4 on Small bore connectors have published a White Paper which contains guidelines intended for those involved with the changeover from Luer to to ISO 80369 connectors. The aim of the document is to help health care facilities, service providers and any other entity or person carrying out or involved in the changeover from medical products using Luer connectors to medical products using the new non-interchangeable connectors to manage the process appropriately.
The document was written after the UK HOWTO, and the authors met and spoke with those in the UK who were involved with the Surety changeover in the UK.
