SMTL was delighted to be invited to attend and present at MediWales Connects held at Mercure Holland House, Cardiff on 26th June 2024. The annual conference brings NHS colleagues from across Wales, local companies and the wider industry sector together to share clinical innovation in practice to improve patient outcomes.
Dr James Evans and Tomos Rodrigues attended the Industry Programme covering UK Market Access, Procurement and NHS Supply Chain. Tomos gave a presentation focussing on the technical and regulatory hurdles for medical devices in NHS Wales, in addition to SMTL's role in assessing these requirements. The presentation was well received by delegates, generating questions and discussion.
